Are Carat 55’s diamonds certified?

Carat 55’s diamonds are carefully selected and examined by an in-house GIA certified gemologist. Most of our diamonds are certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) where a certificate will be provided to you upon purchase.

What Ring Sizing should I follow?
All our rings are according to Hong Kong ring sizing. Please convert them accordingly before making a purchase. 

What if my Ring Size is larger than 12 / 20 sizing?
The price for ring sizes above the default stated 12 or 20, would require a special pricing, thus please send us an enquiry for a more accurate quotation before placing an order. 

Where are Carat 55’s diamonds sourced from?

Our diamonds are ethically sourced from all around the world. We work with respected suppliers who ensure conflict diamonds do not enter their supply chain.

 Is my order made bespoke - just for me?

Unless your order of choice is in-stock, most of our orders are customised and made-to-order, allowing you to select your choice of gold colour and stone to create a piece that is uniquely yours.

 What jewellery services do you offer?

Carat 55 offers alteration services from resizing, repolishing and engraving. Our in-house designer may also propose custom designs just for you and may offer to redesign your outdated jewellery or heirloom pieces.

 What is the lead time for bespoke orders?

Customised fine jewellery pieces normally take 6-8 weeks for production. We do receive requests for rush orders but are unable to rush as good things take time! We ensure to maintain our quality standards. 

Is the boutique open on Sundays?

Regular boutique hours are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays. If you’d like to make a visit from Sundays to Mondays, you may book a private appointment with us through hello@carat55.com or 8223 5855. We are reviewing out boutique hours amidst Covid-19 situation , we strongly recommend you to make an appointment with us .

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express and Shopify Payments for local and international orders. We also accept bank transfers via Paynow . 

What if the item I received is damaged or faulty?

All our items are shipped in our signature box and couriered to you. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please email us at hello@carat55.com and we will review the matter right away.

 Please note that all returns must be sent back to our location within 14 days of the time that the defect is identified. If we do not receive the defective item back within the time period, we will not be able to process your refund.

What is your returns policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us for store credit within 1 month of receipt. Please note that this only applies to in-stock items purchased. 

Please contact us at hello@carat55.com prior to sending back your item stating the reason for your return. All returned merchandise must be in its original condition. We recommend shipping all returned packages via registered shipping with tracking information. Carat 55 will not be able to issue any refunds or exchanges for lost packages.
